This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was about teaching pronunciation and phonology. I learned that I have a lot to learn when it comes to phonology! I found reading the sounds in the ainternational Phoenemic Alphabet to be very difficult, and will definitely need the help of an audio guide to master this skill. The information on place of articulation was easier for me to understand by following the examples and trying them out myself. This unit wasn't easy for me, but I think it was interesting as I've learnt about methodologies, techniques and theories of teaching. Especially I liked the method, that was invented by Jeremy Harmer, which is called \"ESA\" (Engage-Study-Activate). That's been exciting for me to know about \"Correction Techniques\" and the difference between \"mistakes\" and \"errors\". I look forward to continue this course!
