Unit 5 takes use through class management.Explaining how a teacher should use different techniques such as eye contact,gestures and he's or her voice in the classroom.It also covers student positioning,teacher positioning,giving instructions,creating rapport in the classroom ,the importance of teacher talk time(TTT) and student talk time(SST) as well as discipline maintenance.I have learned many of the techniques for presenting and practising language structures. Those techniques flavor or rather clarify each stage. For the engage stage, I understand how discussion, scenario building, prompting, question and answer, and using pictures, drawings etc are all a part of team... ENGAGE. The techniques for Study and Activate both clarify purpose as well.
