The unit gave insight in the aids that can be used to make a lesson more interesting, effective and less depending on the textbook. Examples of teaching aids are the board, video camera or computers. Not all the schools and language centers will be equipped with the same amount of aid recourses. A small school in Vietnam will probably not have a smartboard. As a teacher it's my task to know how to work with the given equipment.In this unit, I learned all about the three different types of conditionals plus mixed conditionals and how the tenses are put together. I liked the ideas on how to integrate them in a lesson; e.g. that students have to express ideas like \"If I were a millionaire I would...\" etc.
The unit went on to teach about reported speech, and explained how tenses in the reporting clause change, as well as how pronouns and time changes.
