Testing students English ability is necessary for all English learners because it helps assess their language proficiency and their periodic progress throughout a course. For students hoping to work or study in an English speaking country another important part of testing is practice testing so that they can prepare for external exams which will allow them to do so.The English present tense system, as with the past and future tense systems, has four aspects it takes in order to begin the process of building sentences of simple and complex thought. These aspects are Simple, Continuous, Perfect, and Perfect Continuous. The four aspects then take three forms (positive, negative, and question) which are used differently depending on the circumstances of the situation in which the form needs to be used.
