This chapter discusses the ways in which pronunciation and phonology can be taught to a class. While most of the materials are comprehensible, what I find challenging will be the section on articulation. I need more to revise the different manner of articulation time and again, just to make sure that the knowledge stays. I have heard of the term Glottal stop (while pronouncing yoghurt and being corrected by a British person from the North of England) prior to this unit but did not know that Glottal falls under the section, 'Place of Articulation'. Another section I find useful will be the section on, \"Stress\". Indeed stress on different words can convey and suggest a different meaning. The sentence may be the same throughout but it will mean different things based on which is the stressed word.
