Reading and listening are the way we collect in formation and can be called receptive skills. Just like collecting water from the rain demands that we give ourselves some training, so is this important part of English language. The proper use of our ears,eyes and mind will give us a good base for receptive skills building. reading and listening can be done for varied reasons like fun or acedemic motives and can face problems like language and choice of topic ; so the teacher must always look out for these before taking a topic.One very important role I have learned is, as a teacher,moltivating and anticipating the students can change a story from a science book to an interesting piece of art from Harry Porter.How ever sellecting reading or listening tesxt should reflect the level of the students.
