I think that this unit definitely gave me an overview on how important it is to be an effective listeners not just as a student but as well as leader. You definitely have to have desire to work with different types types of student on different levels of knowledge yet be able to manage your own involvement as a leader and know when is enough. Also, being aware of your own biases and background when working with students from different cultures is essential. At the end of the day you really have to be a good entertainer in order to motivate and engage your students in study and of course never offend one because they might lack the concept. Always be patient and willing to go an extra mile for your students by constantly encouraging them and giving feedback and all while learning with them as well.
