This unit starts with describing various teaching methods that could be used when teaching English as a foreign language. The unit then introduces the ESA-method which is the basis of this course. The text then explains how the ESA-method functions and how it should be applied in terms of lesson planning and lesson structuring. Furthermore, several different ideas that can be used during the three stages are also introduced. Lastly the unit covers the basics on how feedback and correction should be used during a lesson or an entire course.
I feel that I have gotten a good grasp on how I should plan and structure lessons in the most ideal way possible for both myself and the students. I have also learnt what is required and expected of me as a teacher when providing feedback or correcting students.
