unit 17 is about equipment and teaching aids. we could use the board, interactive whiteboard, OPH in the classroom. we can use visual aids to show the meaning more effectively than verbal. To know what we can use is important, and in this unit, I learnt lots of ways to use for the class. since the computer is more and more popular, we can use website to show students how the world works, and check words in online dictionary.This unit discussed the different types of students I may encounter teaching English, along with the possible motivations of the students. I learned that most younger students will be attending classes due to parental involvement, whereas older or business students will be their because of their own personal motivation. Regardless of the motivation of the student, it is the responsibility of the teacher to teach the student.
