In this unit, we learned about the system and structure of the past tenses. There are four forms of the past tense, i.e. simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. The usages and common mistakes for each of these forms are also explained. Finally, sample teaching activities were given to help teachers teach and explain the past tenses to their students.Unit 18(Modals,phrasal verbs and passive voice)we examine modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice in detail as well as brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses.It enables me to explain in detail about basic rules and uses of auxiliary words and present/future and past tense.I will be able to help students understand this subject and motivate them.
