This unit covered the different types of examinations that English language learners will most likely come across in their language learning journey. It was useful to learn about the different official exams that test a student's language ability. I did not know that there were so many different options for a student to take, and that some of them had such specific content that they were testing students on.A positive attitude and a sincere desire, by the teacher, to help one's students will go a long way toward effective participation and learning. The more energized and happy, the more the students are willing to try to speak. It is good to have an observer sometimes that would be willing to provide feedback and constructive criticism of one's classroom techniques in order to improve one's teaching abilities.
