This unit went over lesson planning. A few reasons were given to create lessons, such as to act as an outline, to keep track of goals, and to keep a record and act as an outline for substitute teachers. Some lesson plans were shown as examples. ESA methodology is once again discussed in this unit, showing examples of how to use the engage, study, and activate phases to carry out the lesson plan.This final unit discussed how to solve a few common issues when teaching English. This chapter is important because it addresses a lot of the potential problems I will face as a teacher. Learning how to deal with reluctant or trouble-making students is something that all teachers will face in their career. A lot of the tips for large classes also seemed helpful even if some of them were obvious.
