This unit included the four different forms of the present tense: the simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I liked this unit because it gave us more information on what we are going to be teaching, rather than how to teach it. Leading up to this unit, I was starting to question when we were going to get into what we were actually going to be teaching, instead of how to teach in general.Unit 11 is focused on teaching receptive skills. The unit breaks down the importance of reading and listening skills and the reasons we might use them. It then covers the ways in which we read or listen. We learn how to ready the students and curtail issue by careful selection of material. Then after we are taught about choosing topics, creating interest and assigning task, we are given examples of how we might execute such a lesson.
