This unit was mind-boggling compared with previous lessons. Perhaps I do not have \"the ear\" but it was extremely difficult to understand the examples and hear where the stress and intonation of sentences fell. Nevertheless, I am pleased to have gone through the chapter as I imagine it will be much harder for students learning English to hear the rise/fall than it was for myself.In this unit, I learned a variety of different teaching theories as well as different techniques for presenting information to students and then engaging them in the most effective capacity for learning. Many examples were given on types of games and strategies that could be used within a classroom setting that would effectively engage and activate the students' learning capacity.
