Going over speaking and writing has been yet another valuable lesson for me. I never really thought about the fact that our lessons would be filled more with speaking, so I should try to incorporate writing as much as possible. Writing is something I hold near and dear to my heart, and I think the creative writing in class is a great example and way of getting kids to go beyond just writing for homework.This lesson helped me learn the present tense, including the different forms of the present tense (present perfect, present continuous, and present simple). It shows the different tenses in the forms of sentences, as well as questions. It also gives examples of poor form when it comes to the present tense, and how to help students change their habits to help them use the proper form in their sentences.
