As a teacher who works with college aged students it is absolutely true that most of the students will have high motivation for learning the language. However, this does not mean that they will not fall out of motivation if the lessons are too easy or difficult. Lastly I am interested in teaching young beginners so it is nice to see that types of difficulties such as motivation that comes as a challenge.Teaching a new language involves bringing both grammar and vocabulary to the the learner as one package since one without the other will not produce the best output. Introducing a language will depend on how the lesson is arranged either using the straight arrow, boomerang or patchwork methodology. Students need to know the meanings, usage, forms and patterns of vocabulary as well as grammar structures.
