This unit describes the types of materials that can be used in the classroom. Authentic materials include materials produced in the language made for purposes other than the classroom. Non-authentic materials are those materials such as textbooks and worksheets that are made specifically for use in the classroom. Furthermore, the use of a lesson plan and supplemental resources for teachers are explained.This unit was about evaluation and testing. I learned about different ways to assess my students language level: tutorials, evaluation by the students and tests.
They are different ways of testing students. Placement, progress, diagnostic, external and Cambridge tests are all different kind of tests to give to students. It's important to give periodic progress tests to students to monitor their learning.
