I learned the names of the different forms of the past tense and when to use each correctly. Now I will be able to explain each to my students so that they will be able to correctly describe past actions in precise and understandable ways. I was reminded that there is no rule or guide to remembering the different irregular verbs in past tense so I will need to find ways to help the students remember them.In this unit we went over the present tense in all four of it's various forms: Present simple, present perfect, present continuous, and present perfect continuous. We went over the difference between these four forms of the present tense. We also learned each one's form, it's proper usage, the common mistakes made within each one, and an activity for the activate stage of teaching for each one. (66 words)
