The lesson plan is very important as it offers guidance on the general format of the lesson and what you hope to achieve. A lesson plan should not be rigid and should leave room for flexibility. Having a lesson plan is beneficial as it allows you to make sure that the lesson will be well balanced and also determines the necessary aids that will be needed. It helps you be organised in general.Unit 18 is a short presentation od modal, phrasal verbs and passive voice. It reminds us what we need to know about these grammar issues. As ESL teachers we will surely come across them sooner or later. Our students need to absorb that knowledge in order to communicate effectively. I like how modal verbs are explained in this unit. We can also find some examples that we could use in our classes.
