Unit 17 is on Equipment and Teaching Aids. It discusses some of the resources often found: board, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets/work cards, cassette recorder, cd player, videos/dvd, resource books, video camera, dictionaries, photocopiers, computers, and online resources. It also gives out many fabulous online sources and websites.In this unit, we covered to topic of teaching pronunciation and phonology. We learnt about stress, articulation, intonation and rhythm. These things are very important in pronunciation of something correctly and properly. Phonemes were also very interesting. I can finally read phonetic scripts very easily which i culdnt before. This is a very important art of the language.
