Teaching children requires a lot of energy, the tasks should be brief and various in activities to maintain the dynamics of the lesson. Teaching business students can be difficult because the age of the students may vary greatly, they might not be motivated to study and the attendance might be ideal. Teaching individual students has its advantages - a teacher can focus on one student's needs and progress.I think my greatest take-away from this unit was the concept of pre-teaching difficult vocabulary. I must admit that I usually cover vocabulary at the end of the reading, seeing if the students can figure out the meanings of unfamiliar words through context. I will definitely try pre-teaching the vocabulary with my class next time. Also, the lesson examples in this unit were very clear and informative.
