In this unit we engage in the importance of the modal auxiliary verbs grammar rules. This is important because it shows us it can be used to express a number of different ideas such as permission, obligation and, advice. Besides that, this unit explains the two voices used in the English language; the active and the passive. The focus of the active voice is on the subject, but the passive voice deems the subject unimportant.I learned that lesson 4 is very important when it comes to Tenses. How and under what circumstances the tense or grammar point should be used. Understanding and knowing the present tenses will encourage communicative actives that can be used in the classroom and outside of the classroom. The Tense area needs to be stressed and learned as well as taken in high regards for it is the most confusing part of the english language.
