This unit talked about issues a teacher might encounter when teaching English to non native speaking students. As stated in previous unit reflections, I think that it is always useful to talk about situations that might occur in an everyday classroom setting. Thinking about possible future difficulties allows us to prepare thought out solutions which takes stress off of the teacher and students.In This unit I have learnt about many different aspects of classroom management. Topics which were covered were very interesting, for example how to use my voice effectively or gestures. I also think that the complex subject of classroom discipline is now more friendly to handle. Classroom arrangement and establishing rapport with students allows me to feel more confident about my own knowledge.
