Lesson planning for dummies, very good information for me as a beginner at teaching and something I think will be a real challenge in the years to come. This unit gives me a basic explanation in how to think and what points to press and which in to be more flexible. I believe that with a good plan you create for your self the possibility to be flexible when the situation demands it, and then just lots and lots of practice...This unit discussed the basic principles and components of a lesson. These principles and goals of a lesson will help us develop appropriate lessons to deliver a specific content matter to students, as well as reflect on our instruction and effectiveness of our planned activities. After reading through the sample lessons I now have a deeper understanding of each of the components and what, as well as the purpose of each one.
