This unit certainly helped me to understand the importance of planning a structure of the entire course. Students needs and goals, together with a level and preferred learning style of students, will influence a chosen approach to a syllabus design. I am also going to reconsider my approach to students' evaluations. It's true that students might come up with some interesting ideas about what would help them more.For anyone who has never taught and/or aspires to teach, discussing the structure of a lesson plan and what should be included in that lesson plan is the most important and helpful take-away from this unit. Having had no experience in teaching a class, I believe it shows the importance of being well organized and what to include in the plan, so the students are presented with a coherent structure at the outset.
