Before working on this unit, I knew almost literally nothing about phonemes or place of articulation After working on this unit, I now have a much greater appreciation and understand of how I form the words I say. Also, as a debater, I have spent a large amount of time working on and thinking about the ways of stressing words in order to present them most persuasively.It was easier to catch on to the 4 types since they are repeated with past and present tenses. It made more sense the second time around. I struggled a little bit with the usages and how to differentiate them since they are all in the past. I learned that continuous form will have 'to be', perfect will have 'to have' and perfect continuous will have 'to have' + 'been'.
