We usually pay more attention to speaking skills in the classroom and writing is often neglected. Because we don't want to spend hours for writing and give writing exercises as a homework. As a result the skill is never developed. While writing needs more accuracy, speaking needs more fluency. But still, there are both equally important in reproductive skills.The various methodologies given throughout this unit have enlightened me into a new perspective. The differences between mistakes and errors is a new concept to me and will help me in the future when correcting errors made by TEFL students. I do appreciate learning about the ESA structures and how to vary them in way that could make classrooms less monotonous.
