Unit eighteen contains information on modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. These are important and tricky components in the English language. When I was in high school I learned about passive voice compared to a younger age. The chapter explains well on the variety of scenarios and the video explains a variety of methods to help guide them to the correct answers. The modals section of the unit was one of the easier sections for me because I grew up using these terms. I can understand why a new English speaker might not see the differences in their uses. However, the unit explained phrasal verbs in a broad sense and was difficult for me to understand. Nonetheless, this unit was informative in refreshing me how to correctly use phrasal verbs and how to correctly use these clauses in sentence structures.
