There are different tools for teachers to use in the classroom to aid their teaching. These includes DVD, video camera, OHP, whiteboard, smart board etc. They can be very useful in class to help attract students' attention and motivate them. We should know which tool are good for which situation and therefore utilize the most to help us make the class interesting and enjoyable.Unit 17 is super helpful in discussing the uses of different types of resources in the classroom. It is also helpful in that it gives lots of resources, not only for the teacher, but for students as well. After reading all the good things about overhead projectors, I am a little sad that they are phasing out for more modern technology. Though, I do believe that IWB's are nice too.
