This unit points out effective use of some teaching aids and equipment. Being able to use a wide variety of techniques and equipment help to keep the class fresh and motivated. Students maybe curious as to what new technique will be used to present materials. Also, the importance of knowing how to use the equipment is essential in saving time and student learning. Working in a developing country I have learned the hard way that having a backup plan is critical. It is not uncommon for the electricity to go out or the equipment not being to work. Standing with a full power point presentation on a flash drive is useless with no electricity or proper equipment.
Making yourself familiar with the resources which are available is valuable. It takes time to select which will work the best for different situations.
