In this unit I learned the different ways to congregate verbs in the present tense as well as different grammar structures such as forms, usage, typical student errors and teaching ideas. Techniques such as games and activities help activate the students into participating with the teacher and their groups. Miming is a great way to introduce new verbs and their actions while encouraging class participation.This unit taught me about conditionals. I never knew they had a name even though I understand the concept because I am a native speaker. I also learnt that the verb tense changes when the sentence is being reported. For example if something is said in present continuous then it gets reported as past continuous. I also like the teaching tips for reported speech because it will make more real to the students.
