In this unit I have learned the different equipment and teaching aids we use in a school or language center. Some good examples of those are OHP, DVD, cassette recorder and CD player. These teaching aids are very helpful for teachers to make the class more fun and interesting. In this course unit, I also learned that we shouldn't the words we say in all capitals.This Unit gives an overview of the challenges a teacher might face in a classroom. In particular the structure of the first lesson is discussed and how to deal with large classes and the use of the native language. For me the information on how to deal with different English levels in class was very interesting because that is something I feared to struggle with.
