Having a year and a half of experience as a teacher, using a method which is very similar to ESA, my planning is reduced to notes on a full sheet of paper, mostly focusing on timing and covering the three phases of the lesson. I really appreciate that this unit does not try to portray that as bad planning, but more as natural progression with experience. In my lessons, talking with my supervisor, and studying the units in this course, I've become aware of several areas of my teaching that I would like to improve, but I hadn't yet thought of a specific way to work on it. Therefore, I loved the idea presented in this Unit of including \"Personal aims\" in the lesson plan. I feel this and the self-assessment after the class is a great way to focus on not only the students' learning process, but our own as well.
