this unit shows the importance periodic testing of the students knowledge. giving different types of test allow us to see how much of the instruction is being retained and what needs to be worked on. Also the importance of placements exams to ensure the same level learners are in the same class. this unit also explained the different levels of english language placement exams and what purpose they serve.Unit 7 went over specific skills required for the receptive skills - reading and listening. Integrating different skills at different points in the lesson or in different lessons can help students to have better success in using these skills in their English interactions. Seeing authentic learning materials gave me a better idea of what to look for in materials and how to prepare for this style of lesson.
