In Unit 5 the focus was managing classes. This subject is very dependent on the relationship between the teacher and students as well as the classroom set up. Much of it will be determined when the teacher discovers where they are teaching and what the students are like. It is best to be flexible to the surroundings that a teacher finds themselves in. One of the best pieces of advice was found at the end of the lesson: keep it simple.I was always taught and raised to believe in just three verb tenses. But I never connected the almost abstract thoughts that everyday English contains many more. Learning and studying this lesson surprised me as I was almost learning information I never forgot, but was seeing it in a new light. My only worry is trying to effectively and efficiently communicate this plentiful bounty of information to my students without confusing them.
