The unit gave an overview about evaluation and testing methods in English language. As a teacher I am interested to monitor progress of my students, so I found the information useful. I learnt how each of the test should be structured and when should I apply them for students. In the same time I gained knowledge about different external tests that are offered for non-native English speakers and the purpose for each of them.Unit 15 examines the different ways of evaluating and grading students. It describes the various types of tests that help to assess a students' language level or measure their progress. This unit also shows how each test is structured and what is its purpose. Finally, this unit covers some of the most common external exams that are often required by students, so I may need to prepare them for it in my future teaching career.
