This was a fascinating unit. It consisted of two videos which showed the significant impact that a teacher's attitude has on the success of a lesson especially student participation. It showed some of the key mistakes that teachers can make during lessons and what effect this has on the students ability to learn during the lesson as well as some of the small differences a teacher can make to ensure success. I think that observing two different lessons and witnessing a teacher actually preform all of the things that I have read in my previous units is extremely helpful. It allows me to put everything I have learnt so far into context and to actually see what kind of effect it has on an English lesson. I think it will also help me remember some of the key prompts and activities that I have been taught thus far.
