This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I learned about the different methods of evaluating and testing. It is important to understand what the goals are of the student to ensure that they are meeting their own goals throughout the course. I think that progress tests/reports are the most beneficial because it helps both the student and teacher know if their work is successful. I will incorporate these into my classes more often. This present tense unit was categorised into four parts, present simple, present continous, present perfect, present perfect continuous. The structure of the contents were really easy to read and digest as it was clearly thought out and divided into sections ( function, usuage, common errors). I've learnt the rules of present tenses and common errors that I might encounter whilst teaching present tenses.
