What I have learnt from this unit is that understanding the class your teaching and using the different techniques you are taught are the best approach towards better teaching. Having control over what is being taught but also letting your students give everything a go themselves is very important. Using games and getting the class energetic and wanting to learn.This section is about evaluating and testing. It describes the different type of tests there are and helps by explaining when they are typically used.
I feel testing is important to track progress and level but should not be the focus of the year. The students are trying to learn useful English and should enjoy their learning, not worry about the big final exam.
