After this unit, I totally agreed that the choice of topic is very important because it would be counter-productive to teach a topic that the students are not interested in or consider a boring one. If students are interested in the topic, they are more likely to be very participative and motivated to learn more in class. Therefore, I have to think about the topic which my students would be interested in.During my teaching years,I've found myself teaching English to children,teen-agers and adults and this unit has given me a lot of good advice on how to improve my teaching methods.I also have learnt a lot about teaching Business English because it is something that I haven't done yet.Giving me all this information and hints,makes me feel prepared to teach English to people that have different necessities.
