In this lesson I learned about the different materials that can be used to teach a class. Materials such as computers, overhead projectors, visual aids, and videos cameras can be used just to name a few. Most of these aids will keep student attention and keep them more active than just writing on the whiteboard. There were also a lot of references that were in the chapter that can be used.Writing is often the most neglected area in TEFL lesson planning due to the time it takes to prepare for writing and the silent time during class. Since learning conventions are important when writing correctly, it takes the student to a whole new level of competency in the language. The teacher must create situations that will motivate students to want to attain this level of proficiency.
