This first unit helped me to make an idea of what a good teacher is: A good teacher is that one who adapts what to teach, when to teach, and how to teach it, depending on the students' necessities, age, skills level or motivation.
I found really usefull the Roles of the Teacher part. What I learned from this is that a good teacher has to be able to find the most appropiate role for all the activities proposed during the lesson, trying to combine them in order to encourage, motivate and guide the students through the learning process.
I also learned the different levels of knowledge and what to expect from each of them.
In conclusion, this first unit help me to figure out what the students are going to be expecting from me as a teacher, and I am pretty sure that, in an early future, they will be satisfied!
