Unit Ten was a combination of two different video lessons of the same teacher with the same group of students. The first video lesson was essentially a manual for what not to do in a classroom: the teacher was condescending and rude, he used no visuals to aid his point, and had little patience with his students. The second video lesson gave an example on a correct way of approaching the classroom. In this video, the teacher was positive and friendly. He engaged his students by learning each of their names and calling on them throughout the lesson. He went at a slower pace than the first video, ensuring that the students understood a concept before moving on. Overall I appreciated the example of the second video and took the mistakes in the first video as a lesson in how not to approach teaching English abroad.
