Your answer: As we know, there are four basic skills in any language; Reading and listening skills are considered as receptive skills when we acquired by all second language speakers and learners. Teachers should use different specialist skills for reading and listening such as, predictive skills, specific information, general idea, detailed information and deduction from context. Teachers should pay attention to choice of the topic when we are preparing our teaching plan. The topic of the text or dialogue can also help to motivate the students. If the topic is interesting it is likely that the students will really engage with material. If the topic is boring, the students wouldn’t like to read or listen. They will pay attention to others, for example, looking out of the window or playing the pencil, ect.
