I absolutely loved reading about the different methods for teaching another language. When I was a French teacher in the United States I used a lot of Grammar-Translation, PPP, and Communicative Language Teaching. Although I had previous learned about the other methods I had forgotten about them over time. Unit 3 was a great way for me to revisit and revise these methods. I also really enjoyed reading about the Engage, Study, and Activate (ESA) teaching method. This is something that I definitely want to use in my future English classroom. I also found the examples and ideas given for each stage to be very helpful (Partner sharing, memory games, fill in the gap, slow Pictionary, etc.). When it comes to structuring my future lesson plans I will definitely refer back to the information presented in Unit 3.
