This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 15 was again another intuitive lesson, with the added benefit of telling about different types of external tests and for what situation they are best suited. It was a bit disappointing as I had expected there to be some directional information for creating tests to use throughout a course of teaching, especially for those of us who will be teaching outside places that have set curriculums. This unit gave us a quick overview of parts of speech in English. I now feel a bit more confident that I can explain why certain things are the way they are in the English language using the concise explanations from this unit. For example, the sequence \"rules\" for adverbs and adjectives were something I couldn't really explain before but I now know that there is some kind of logic behind it.
