The part of this unit I learned the most was the passive and active voice. When using the active voice the main focus is on the agent. \"My cousin bought the car\" is an example of an active voice. The focus is on my cousin, who is the agent. In passive, the object of the active verb becomes the subject in the passive. \"The car was bought by my cousin\" is an example of the passive.In this unit I leant about the criteria of selecting vocabulary and grammar structures for lessons as well as ways of presenting vocabulary and grammar. I gained a better understanding of various teaching methods (Straight arrow ESA structure, Boomerang ESA structure and Patchwork structure). I learnt to include into my lesson plans activities suitable for different stages of the lesson.
