The unit is an introduction of the first grammar unit. It explains how and why grammar is the structure of language. It provided specific explanations on why as teachers of language; there is a need for grammar to be analyzed and the statements that are made. It also specifies that the basic parts of grammar are the parts of speech and each part has a specific function in a sentence.This unit dealt with problems a teacher might face in a classroom setting. Although it was short it was helpful with tying up loose ends with the units. Potentially difficult classroom settings will be a challenge for all new teachers, but keeping you head about you and staying focused and attentive to the students will be beneficial to not only the students, but the teacher as well.
