It is important to tap into students reading and listening skills to teach a language. AT the same time, I know practice is the best way to improve. It's important to lesson plan and choose activities that will engage your students. One way to engage students is through allowing student choice and choosing readings and activities that your students will enjoy.There are many different tests for people learning ESL to possibly take depending on their reasons for learning English. I learnt about quite a few of them, the body that holds them and the reasons they are taken in this unit. The unit also covered the different tests that are held within the school/classroom to identify levels of ability and areas of concern.
