In this unit we learn about pronunciation and phonology. Phonology helps us speak using sounds. It is needed to learn pronunciation as english has a number of words with same prononcition and different spellings, which can be difficult for a person learning english.
In this unit we learnt about Intonation, stress, the Phonemic alphabets, symbols, articulation and how we could teach them.Unit 4 \"Materials\" was useful for me. I am definitely going to use some links from the list where I can find tips and materials while preparing for classes. Example of a lesson plan for Business English students is another useful and practical info from this Unit. I struggled with lesson planning half a year ago, so any extra practice and example are very useful and highly appreciated.
